its going to be worse at that house because the pool is so close to the house

It will need reinforcement where the pool comes out so the ground doesnt shift and cause the slab to crack

Turn it into a panic room.
Good judgment comes from bad decisions and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

Cracks, tile work, plaster (I would almost bet it will need to be re-plastered), skimmers, and drain operation. Don't forget all the pool equipment, including pumps, filters, Polaris (or some type of sweeper), etc.

Just took a peek at it. I will say it looks way better in person than the pics make it out to be.

The house itself looks to be in pretty good shape. No foundation issues that could be noticed from the front or sides. I did not go into the back yard because the gate was locked. It's gonna need a new fence btw. The pool from what I could see was in decent shape, pumps, filters were all there.

The inside (only looked through the windows) needs paint in some places but really was in good shape. Only thing that stood out as odd was the over abundance of air fresheners inside.

If it stays on the market after this round of bids I might put an offer in on it.

The city of arlington requires all pools to be drained and coverd like this after X amount of days. I ran into a few pools likes this while house shopping few years ago in arlington.

130k? Too much imo. Might go but I doubt it. It'll go another round. Could be good if it has the $100 down program.

Good luck on it. I like that area but decided that North Arlington was more practical. House shopping is definitely not as fun as you would think it would be. Way too many variables and hoops to jump through.
