my guess is that the pool has cracked and is unusable

Lemme know ur opinion of the house if you do go look at it
HUD is shady as fuck. Government run says everything.

I'll let you know but my opinion will differ greatly from most. I look at the foundation and brick work to base my opinion. The inside will more than likely get gutted no matter what it looks like. I hate carpet with a passion.

Same gonna drop nice tile on first floor and make a bar type area. I look for brick foundation and if the siding is peeling or cracking.

Good judgment comes from bad decisions and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

That house has been empty a good while. The mortgage company is listed as the "owner" on the tax roles...that could mean around 12-16 months of it being vacant. The contraption over the pool is a long-term safety measure to keep kids/animals from falling into it, and eliminating possible lawsuits. I'd figure at least new plaster and coping/tile work.

yea and thats probably why the house has had 10+ owners, and has that weird structure over it. Any bids on that house probably needs to include $30k for the removal of the pool

The property inspection report isn't really that bad, other than some minor damage and some damaged shingles. It listed the pool, but didn't list any major damages to the pool.

Just fill it up with dirt and build a deck.

I don't think it's that easy. That huge gunite shell will hold water quite well. In some cities, there's a code for pool demolition, and it's not cheap to have done.

It's a hiding spot being built to run Asian girls from, for all the Asian massage polars around for happy ending.

                                Those things are popping everywhere
