Although I chose dogs, I did see something today that makes me think twice about them.

I am watching my aunts dog. I let him out into the yard this morning and watched him do his thing, since it was cold. He decided to take a poop, which I thought "cool, he will come back fast". Then he immediately turned around and ate the poop.


I advised my wife to not touch anything that dog licks or holds in his mouth.

I like both. We have 4 dogs and 2 cats. The bobtail cat acts like a dog, but she is one helluva hunter. I enjoy watching her stalk prey.

However, dogs are my ultimate favorite. Neither one of our cats would enjoy riding the motorcycle with me like my buddy Tanner does.

cats, to me, are a girl's pet. Im not saying you are any less masculine if you live alone and you have a cat, but they are a girl's pet.
I have never heard a buddy of mine get divorced and say "well, time to get me a cat!"

I have owned both. I enjoy them both. dogs are messy, cats stink. I had a cat that would fetch his ball, lay down on command and come when called. I had a dog who would dry off when told, play with his ball and swim with us (man I miss him). my last cat lived 17 years. I loved her very much. the new one is a pain in the ass but the kid wanted one.
