I'm not making any excuses for the teacher or the students that did this. IMO they should all get to personally experience prison rape. However this one line kinda stood out for me.

Exactly how is this the case? If I were that child's parent, she would never set foot back in that school. IMO this one line makes the Mom look incompetent.

The state placed her there, she was bullied, mom was trying to get her moved and then she was raped. That's how I read the story, or am I missing something. The story is written rather poorly.
