    All -

One of my best friends truck was stolen last night from in front of his house located in West Fort Worth / White Settlement area.

If you have any information, please contact me.

It's a 2003 F250 with the new style front end, tail lights and tail gate.

yep. No PATS so easy to take. I'm surprised more F250/350 owners don't have a serious security system on them.

WTF? Why didn't Ford have PATS on the f250 but the f150 of the same year did?

Hope they find the truck in good shape...

These trucks are disappearing left and right around DFW. My friend has had two stolen in the last 3 years. The most recent one was recovered after the thief jumped it over the railroad tracks at Valwood and 35 in Farmers Branch at over 100mph. It was totaled.

No alarm. Never heard it start, the dogs are in the front room of the house (30' away) and they never even barked.

The neighbor 2 doors away, has the same year/model truck. This morning there was a heavy dew on the windows. His had slimjim marks on the glass that were visible in the dew.

Damn, his neighbor got lucky, they may try and come back for it. I hate thieves.

Hmm, I just bought an F250 yesterday. I guess I need to go ahead and put full coverage on it.

I hope he finds the truck back in the same condition or at the least get a nice payout.

That sux Brooks. I'm in that vicinity now, but the truck is likely long gone. Did he drive by the travelers area to check? I. Not sure if they are at thieves, or just thieves/crooks.

                        I'll keep an eye out.

Sounds like all those trucks need good alarms and lojacks/skylinks.

Normally, the driver's side keyhole is punched in.

This! They tried to get my 02 a few months back and they punched in the passenger side to get in.

Ford really does some goofy shit in their lineups. No consistency between models. I dont know why if you have a new technology that you wouldnt put it into all the vehicles of that year production. You already developed the damn technology, how hard can it be to integrate. Just traded a 2011 F150 for a 2011 F250 and the F150 has much nicer fit and finish, LCD screen and single tone leather seats...the F250 had bitone leather, no LCD on XL/XLT trucks, etc...

I definitely would. A few years ago when I bought my 06 Dodge 2500 the dealership had a truck stolen out of their lot. I want to say it was an '08 with no PATS

I have seen this many a times posted on forums. The Dodges were just as bad but finally went with PATS (or whatever they called it) on 06+ trucks. PATS has been around forever. How much more could it add to the price of a vehicle?
