  • Who bought the 82 Capri in McKinney?

I was day late for a clean, unmolested 1982 Capri RS 5.0 for sale in McKinney. Which board member snagged it?

It had been for sale for quite a while, on CL and FEP. Seller had taken delivery of a new, cleaner ride and needed to move that one. I thought his asking price was a little low actually, it was really clean, just needed some love and a good buff. I almost made the call several times over the last few weeks, but I'm out of room for projects.

Yep, the old rusty '75 and its near-twin 23,000 mile '74. I sold the brown Q-code '74 last year.

I wondered if you were on here or not. Glad the Capri went to a good home (and won't get cut up into a race car).

I am on here in fits and starts.

My two fears were getting cut up into a race car or having its fenders (and therefore it) sacrificed for some Mustang project.

I have a black 85 Capri that is all original and unmolested that I bought to restore that I will sell if anyone is interested. It's a factory 5 speed with Grey interior, its missing the air cleaner and has a mustang hatch.
