They are projected to again exceed the "debt ceiling" within the next two months.

            So... two months.

They are going to tax this country right in to the ground
I don't think TX will ever vote in a state income tax while the Republicans are in power. They are generally business people who work to get companies & people to move to our state with the perks of tax breaks & no state income tax. It's been working pretty well so far. We'll see how long it continues with the changing demographics.

However, they will probably increase the fuck out of sales tax. If you look at an increase in the sales tax, at least the people who don't pay federal taxes will be forced to chip in on what the rest of us pay via the sales tax. Sucks ass that those of us who work & pay federal income tax will have to pay more in sales taxes too. Sigh. gotta support the non-working bottom feeders somehow, huh?

Well, I'm glad I paid off a lot of debt in 2012 so the hit won't be too noticeable...

                Still sucks, though.

                  Welp, mine was down 2%.

The easiest way to explain it for you salaried workers like myself is this.

You will work one week this year for free, compared to 2012. If you make $1k a week gross they took an extra $20 out this week. Your SSDI didn't double, It went up 50%.

I really didn't realize everyone made 6 figures on this site, hell even the wives make it here. If you lost $50 a week that means you gross $2500, which means you would cap on SS anyway.

Grossed 133 less and they took 66 more. I'm not complaining even thou I'm not a ballet like ford racing.

Sales taxes are a deduction to your federal taxes and the size of the standard deduction scales with income. Meaning the human livestock don't get the deduction. Another tiny win for the producers.
