panther platform; What is the future?

So, just looking for opinions on how long the panther platform is viable as a daily driver?

Eventually crap breaks down, and a 2003 model has its share of issues, but I really don't see anything in the current market that would replace it. At what point do i throw in the towel and where can I find something comparable?

and comfort and fit issues, the new mustang is as close to comfy as anything, ironically. Most of that is the lack of a dashboard that extends to infinity and front glass that matches. But that is the aero design in favor these days....

please keep suggestions affordable for us working folks (50k or less).

Unicorn platform you can find all day for <50k. Long dashboard and lumbar support, good till at least 2015.

As far as a daily driver, panther platform will never be replaced.
