My mom asked me to see if 'the board' could help find them a military jeep or if any of you had one to sell. Post up if you have a lead on one, please. :-)
Thanks!

I know of an old Willys in decent shape Leah, I almost bought it.
What is their price range? what are their "goals" for it? Are they looking for something completely ready to go, or something that is a basket case, or?
I had a '45 willys MB for many years, sold it to the national aviation museum in Dayton, OH a few years ago. I recommend you talk to 820 jeep in fort worth. He can probably locate or have one for you. Prices range between $2-15k depending on state of restoration.

1942 Ford 1.5 Ton Military Supply Truck - $11500 (White Rock Lake Area)
1942 Ford Regular 158" wheelbase Flatbed/Stakebed truck. Flathead V8 with 4 speed gearbox and two speed axle. The was a Civilian Truck that was requisitioned by the Military during the war for stateside supply duty. I bought the truck 12 years ago from the family of the original owner who bought the truck at a war surplus auction after the war. Although rated at 1.5 tons, this model has the two speed rear axle with frame re-enforcements which was rated at 2 tons. The truck, including drivetrain was totally original when I acquired the truck 12 years ago. I did a frame on restoration on the truck 10 years ago. My Father recently passed away and left me several vehicles he had so I now have too many vehicles. Would like to find a good home for the truck, hopefully someone with a barn or large building so it can be stored indoors. call anytime. Scott 214-289-7612
