FWIW I've lended vehicles, job leads, thousands of dollars, etc to family members when they've "needed it", nothing good has come from any of it, and I don't think I've got a thank you ever. In return I've got maybe $400 back, a few damaged vehicles, and I'm still the "instigator" of arguments according to some of my family. I can't win. It's no wonder why I spent Christmas on the beach in California with no family!!!

Like my original post said though, that truck is too big for somebody that's not used to driving it. She'll get over it. If you feel bad about your mom being pissed, tell her about getting a rental. If you split it three ways (which you shouldn't have to anyway) it'll be like $10 a day.
I agree on her ability to drive it. I thought it was funny those were the reasons my mom wouldn't let drive her car, she drives a Saturn Sky Redline.
When my sister was 17, my mom let her driver her 98 Corvette for a little while. She ended up wrapping it around a pole on MacArthur in front of the fourseasons on a wet road.
This F250 used to be my fathers, then I ended up with it. Long story short, he'll be getting it back in a couple years, but before it was lifted, he let her drive it and she thought she could fit through the gate at an apartment complex - nope, didn't make it.
And my family wonders why I wont let her drive anything I have control over? No way.
damnit, i'm full of typo's tonight.I build websites. PM me.

Personally, I think everyone has people in their family they wish they would grow up.
I think they try to help how THEY think they need help, whether that's right or wrong. I mean I would feel like shit if my sister actually lost the one job she likes and plans on keeping. But now I'll be the reason she lost it, and they'll both hate me if it happens.I build websites. PM me.
