  • 'Agreed Value' Car insurance

Do any regular car insurance companies insure a car with 'agreed value' ? I know collector car insurance companies do, but they seem to have really strict rules on how often/miles you can drive a car.

I had agreed value on my old Stingray through State Farm. That was about 6 years ago though.

Thanks, I'll check with them. Did you have to get an independent appraisal to have it insured that way?

Make sure you read all of the fine print on any agreed value or stated value policy. Many times, it's not what you think it is.

I had an agreed value policy on my Torino with All State. Never had to use it, and it wasn't too high of a value ($8K)

we have an agreed policy on my wifes 78 Mini Cooper through Al Boenker insurance...its a 10k policy and it only costs 300 a year...but, they did want an ass load of pics. One from each side of the car, a few of the interior, one of the inside of the trunk and one of the engine...some pics they didnt like and i had to take new ones

Oh, and there is no mileage restrictions which can be hard to find
