I'm glad to see it! And for the record, my stock GT has never once had an issue handling up on an SS or SRT8 of any kind at the track or street. It's 2-1 against ZL1s at the track.

If you want to get into GT500 vs ZL1 on the road course, nearly every article had the Mustang running the faster times, but the ZL1 having more "repeatable" times and the "preferred" road course car. PFFT.

And I think Ford still has some room for improvement. There is still Direct Injection expected for the '15+ 5.0s and there are a couple of 5.8 coyotes out there already.

    Good times!

Yup, almost 400 lbs of extra fat will do that.

My left foot is tired of traffic. If they do make the car with a beefy auto and it runs good, I'd be very interested depending on price. I just hope they don't be gay and do the stick only bullshit.

That would be awesome. Then you can dig through your purse while driving, without having to worry about shifting.

I'll have more time to text while driving and watching movies on my Nav screen...

Stop and go with a manual sucks ass holes, I don't care how much of a "bad-ass" driver you are. Rowing gears going 8 mph with a cam is horseshit.

If the LS7 is dropped in the Camaro, no way will it have an automatic. Otherwise, an auto would already be available in the 427 Vette convertible.

I also think the LS7 cost more than the LSA to produce so not sure, an LS7 Camaro would be cheaper than the ZL1.

                      Just the Facts:

General Motors announced on Wednesday that production of the next-generation Chevrolet Camaro will move from Oshawa, Ontario to Lansing, Michigan.
GM said the move will consolidate rear-wheel-drive assembly at its Lansing Grand River facility, which builds the 2013 Cadillac ATS and CTS.
The next-generation Camaro is expected to be launched in 2016 and may share its underpinnings with the Cadillac ATS, according to Reuters.

edit: 2013 Chevrolet Camaro SS with the 1LE starts at $37,035

This interests me, if GM is able to stay near or below the ATS's 3,300 lb weight.

Since the redesigned Camaro came out, it's mostly been outselling the Mustang. So, what would the Mustang be sucking in that case?
