Well, I guess it is Non-Profit according to them:
State Fair of Texas, Inc. is a private, non-profit corporation. It receives no funds from state, federal or local government and is entirely self-supporting. Programs and policies are set by a 55-member board of directors.
Many national corporations and local businesses participate in the Fair as sponsors and exhibitors. The event's total economic impact on the Dallas/ Fort Worth area has been calculated at more than $300 million annually
And if they built more parking, they could rake in the cash.. Instead of all of those houses and businesses across the street. They should do a multilevel garage there in front of Starplex (whatever the current name is). They'd make a killing on parking.

They should put the multilevel parking on the south side. So you can say you survived south dallas.
