Well, I guess it is Non-Profit according to them:

State Fair of Texas, Inc. is a private, non-profit corporation. It receives no funds from state, federal or local government and is entirely self-supporting. Programs and policies are set by a 55-member board of directors.
          That said, they also say:
Many national corporations and local businesses participate in the Fair as sponsors and exhibitors. The event's total economic impact on the Dallas/ Fort Worth area has been calculated at more than $300 million annually
Sounds like they just need to turn the screws on the Dallas Businesses that benefit from it.

And if they built more parking, they could rake in the cash.. Instead of all of those houses and businesses across the street. They should do a multilevel garage there in front of Starplex (whatever the current name is). They'd make a killing on parking.

They should put the multilevel parking on the south side. So you can say you survived south dallas.

Academically recognized I'm sure. To think, that's where the rich folks used to live. Wow. Aaron Spelling is rolling in his grave

I'm sure he will be made with a sombrero and those pointed boots this time.
                    "Big Mex" this time maybe?

But yeah, I agree. I'm sure those increasingly over priced rides and food should more than cover the cost of a total rebuild.

What in the hell about that should cost $450k+? Heck, what would make it cost $200k? I'm not buying it. Someone is trying to price gouge. I wonder if they even bother to take bidders.
