Going through the bar at mom & dad's house... pouring a little dram of Laphroiag 16 and saw a bottle in a brown paper bag sitting in the sink.
reached in and it felt like an Ardbeg/Longrow shaped bottle...
pulled out my holy grail... a bottle of Ardbeg Uigeadail! My dad's still got 3/4 bottle on the shelf. I had a taste a couple nights ago.
I was all excited and showed my dad. He said he was on the phone with me talking scotch while he was at the liquor store and I was going on about it and he already had a bottle, but there was one on the shelf, so he snagged it. That was probably 10+ months ago. He said "you found it, you keep it!"
I told him I would rather leave it here so that I could enjoy it with him.
It's a Festivus miracle!!!
