    My dad and I love the movie "Let It Ride". It's a somewhat obscure late 80's comedy. I can quote it front to back.

    Well, it's based on a book called Good Vibes. It's been out of print since the early 80's. Collectible grade books usually go for $250 or so. Uncirculated/mintj condition first editions fetch close to $2k.

    My parents surprised me with a really nice collectible grade book for xmas. Hands down the best gift I've received possibly ever. So awesome

        Nothing too crazy here.

        Wife got a kitchenaid stand mixer, some Nordstrom gift cards, and possibly a TV show.
        I got a baller full size/weighted keyboard (teaching myself piano), another set of whiskey stones, some REI giftcards and a half size rugged french press for hiking / camping.

            How are those whiskey stones? I've looked at those for a while, how do they compare to ice as far as effectiveness?

                I got my grandfather's dog tags from the Navy/WWII, and my great grandfather's shaving kit in a keepsake box. I also got a new heeler pup a week and a half ago from one of my best friends, and my girlfriend bought me a phone. Pretty solid Christmas, IMO.

                            I got money and spent time with the fam and we actually got along. I went way overboard on gifts this year since I was a cheap bastard last year

                                Eh. I've been told you really need a well insulated glass which I don't have. Using a regular tumbler they don't seem to stay cold for too long.
