It looks to me like an option to invest in. For example, you might want your portfolio diversified into different buckets. Cdx Bp Hy17 5y would be a bucket.

You've got an "ig" and an "hy" in there. I think those are convertible bond funds or indices. The IG is going to be the investment grade and the HY is the high yield (junk) fund or index.Originally posted by davbrucasComment
