  • Explorer windows not working?

I cannot roll up either the passenger or driver's side front windows of our 95 Exploder. I can hear the relay under the dash click and I can even hear clicks in both doors, but neither one will budge. The back windows and all door locks work fine.

I even replaced the relay and it still does it. I know I got the right one, because I tested the switches while the relay was out and it was dead silent. As soon as I put the new one in, same symptoms as before.

I am getting 13+ volts in the black/blue wire at the driver's switch panel. I guess I need to pull the panel off and see what next. The junction at the door hing is very tight to get to. Does anyone happen to know which color wire sends the power from the relay to the motors?

The window motors are shot and need to be replaced. Do not waste your time with wiring. You need window motors.
