I pull down 12s everyday until I leave for R&R. In this case, next April. Christmas, New Years, Festivus is no different.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

Tis the most useless work day of the year <-- sang that as I walked in this morning. 3/4 of the office is off, including management. I dont have a customer that will be open after 3 today, so Im pretty sure Ill be rolling out early too.

Retail Management here. I get tomorrow off, and thankfully New Years Day. Those are my two days off the last 2-3 weeks of the year.

This is one of our busiest days of the year. Working 9-5

If a holiday falls on my work days, then I work. It's worth time and a half for the hours worked (in my case, almost $700 for one shift) and 8 hours of holiday time to use at my discretion.

I'm lucky this year. I'm working Thanksgiving, the day after, Christmas, and New Years.

A check of my leave time shows a tad over 2,330 hours of total time available.

                        Chooooo-chooooooo!!!
