            Exactly. Also if u have 2+ years LEO experiance too. Which to me is fair. Not a fan for college book smart kids with no common sense coming into police work. Bad combo. Seen it.

              I actually did A LOT of looking into this one. Most departments in the metroplex require 60 hours of college credit but no degree. Plano and Arlington both require a BA. Dallas is the only option that requires the least, 45hrs of college, no degree.

              So considering this, I thought about EMT/FF but was unsure of the process and what I needed as there were several options (opinions) out there.

                  Fuck that! No chance in hell I'd suggest him walking into another layoff heavy industry and company. I suspect yet another decent sized layoff in January for them next yet.

                  OP, are you looking only in the area, and do you have any college?
