No,no,no,no,no...What do you mean, " you people"
(Lol, I'm gonna derail my own thread)
I was considering the Mach but I love the front end on the cobra. I guess it's the fog lights.

I daily'd a 99 Cobra but it was years ago when it had 8k and i sold it with 45k. It was a decent car but i did have it in once for warranty work on the IRS. That was definately the weak spot.

Truth, the 01 Cobras are different than the MACH's, the latter look like a regular GT.

I do really like the Machs. I was briefly considering trading my 01 Cobra for one. The thing is that most of the ones you find are either going to have lots of miles and require a lot of maintenance, or low miles, but you will pay a premium, and they will still require some work just due to the age.

Got 95K on my 03 Cobra. I do not beat it to death helped I'd like to think. At 64K put a 3.4 Whipple on it, and after lowering the boost to a semi safe level (26 PSI on 93 is a bad idea), been running great since. Well, till cd player quit.
              Some cars and a bike...

Some say... they have been raced, some a lot

I drive a 97 that has been rode hard. Odometer stopped at 160K. So far, no issues. Mine is the white one that Whiteboy had, if you saw it in the classifieds.

Pretty common on those 6 disc changers. Mine jammed up several times and I had to fish the CD out with the earlobe part of my sunglasses, and it was a relatively new car back then.

Bullshit. I ran premium in mine and I ran regular too. No difference that I can see. No pining, no loss of MPG, no noticeable power difference.

Im just not a mod motor fan. I do like my SN95 GT & it gets pretty good gas mileage to boot! It handles like a dream & isnt a violent car like Fox Bodys where you hear everything. Plus the 5.0 motor is simple & easy to maintain & work on

lol, no. If it was an 03/04, I'd probably run premium, but not the 01.

Exactly. They only have a 9.85:1 compression ratio, same as the GT. Boosted car, yeah, even my old Super Coupe would ping like hell on 87 octane.

Daily driven here for the last 6 years. It's been a good car especially considering the punishment it gets. I can't hardly drive it without going WOT at least once.

All this. No boost, lower than 10:1 compression ratio, no need for premium fuel.
