Last New Years day, i asked a woman i dated 38 years ago to marry me...amazingly enough, she said yes. Got better from there. Currently TDY in Minneapolis for the next few months, but working our way back to Texas. Life is good indeed...

          I'm not dead, so that's a plus. It's been kinda eh/meh.

I am ready for 2013... 2012 has been a year of shit happening in my life that it seems I had no control over, but it adversely affected me in just about every way.

It started in February when my best friend of 23 years shot himself in the head. 2 days later I got in a wreck in my truck which all told cost me about $1400. I had two aunts die within 2 weeks of that. A few weeks later my wife lost her job and had to get a new one. Then I finally got my house sold but I took a bath on it and lost over $35,000 in 4 years on it and promptly spent another $7k buying my current house.

The upside is I still have my job which I love and pays well, a healthy family and a home to live in. I finally got another mustang after 12 years away from them. I still have a good attitude towards the future, but damn, c'mon 2013!!!!

I've had better years, however having such a shitty year got me to get off my ass and back in school. I'll be at Texas State in January and am pretty excited about it.

Been pretty crazy. My wife quit her job to be a stay at home mommy, and it was one of the best things we could have done. Everyone is so much happier, and we enjoy each others company like never before. Business has picked up and I made quite a bit more money this year. Had our first REAL family vacation, and it was a blast. Bought her a new car, and could actually get the kind of Christmas presents we wanted to for others this year.

I can only hope that 2013 lives up to this year. Next year we will be focusing on moving back to my hometown and opening up our own pawnshop, as well as knocking out what little remaining debt we have.

Good year. I graduated from college. I visited New York city for the first time. I went to the Florida Keys. I visited a great part of the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee. I Remained Single and no ladies are pregnant. The car wasn't hit. Yea I am gonna have to say it has been a good one!

Moved back to California after a breakup Dec 2011. Focused on work, got a job back in the mortgage business in febuary. I have been promoted twice since then and am now making double what i was hired on at. Looking at houses currently, and a couple good prospects in the dating realm. Hoping to continue my good fortunes into 2013 God willing.
