I don't... and it would be a shame if they BOTH had the same medical condition. That WOULD be sad.

Fact is you are making a lot of assumptions, and pissed off because "what if my kids were with me" when no kids were with you. How about you just not worry so much about others when they are not affecting you personally, and go on about your day?

This obviously did affect me personally... I did not appreciate it, nor should I have been subjected to it. That's the problem now days - people just look the other way too much, and now it is OK to light one up in front of McDonalds.

It's their bosses job to worry about what they do at work, not yours. If it's bad for business then they will eventually figure it out and deal with it. Your only involvement should be to choose whether or not you continue to patronize their establishment.

If you were running a business, and one of your customers witnessed something similar to the above, would YOU not want to know about it ASAP? It apparently affected my experience as a customer. And if it were my business, I'd want to know if something was going on as soon as possible before more people are subjected to it and my business suffers.

They are not there to "serve the public", they are there to attract customers and sell shit for profit.

That is the point of business in general... but working in the restaraunt industry IS a SERVICE job. You are SERVING people (i.e. the public).

If you don't like how they operate then go to Burger King.

I get that, but on the other hand, WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO?? I should be able to go to any restaraunt for dinner and not have to walk by their employees smoking a blunt. Plus, BK doesn't have the CBO.

I could kind of see where you are coming from if these were government employees of some kind, but that is the only way.

I'm not condoning that behavior (eating at McDonalds, that is), but if you go on the McD's website, you can leave feedback about a particular location and if it's negative it WILL get results.

If you did take your kids to McDonalds in the ghetto at night then a couple of employees smoking weed outside wouldn't be the biggest problem. It could get a lot worse. But you didn't have your kids there and nothing bad happened, so why do you care?

80% of the time I stop, because I'm not in that much of a hurry. And if I roll through one and get a ticket, then I asked for it and accept it.

If there were a way to prove it, I would be willing to bet a significant percentage of McDonald's Corporate staff also smokes weed.

But it is still just a policy, that does not make something right or wrong. And what may be right for me, may not be right for the next guy. Again, it's subjective.

I did not enforce anything... I simply notified them of the occurence. It is up to them to enforce it. And I feel it IS my place to notify them if it affected my experience as a customer there.
