I thought it was 16, 18, then 24 and every six years thereafter. Maybe they've changed it or I just don't remember correctly.

It must have changed. six months after you get your license you lose your "P" restriction ( restricts the amount of people can ride in your car) I would assume that is why.

See I thought it was every 7 years, and I never had a P restriction when I was in high school! Is that some new law now? I guess it wouldn't have made a difference anyways since I drove a 2 seater in highschool.

It's every seven years after age twenty one I think. They give you a vertical license until twenty one, where it becomes horizontal, atleast I'm pretty sure. There are all kinds of new restrictions on new drivers. Nobody other than siblings in the car, Can't drive past ten, and State trooper driving test is back.

DLs expire every year till you turn 18 after that they are valid for 6 years. Under 21 gets a vertical DL over 21 gets the horizontal.

Get used to it .... They could be driving a 2011 v6 stang and be driving a 300hp car. 300 horse isnt that much anymore.

you mean 240hp? crank vs at the tires.

driving a 300hp rated ls1 car is TONS different than driving a 300hp rated v6 mustang, wouldn't ya say?

and what's this I hear of a 114mph speed limiter on that V6 mustang? my little 4cyl will hit 165mph on the speedo before it cuts out.

A 15 y/o's Dad just paid $5k on Monday for his son to drive this all day:

How does that make you feel?

I'm only jealous that he was probably short enough to actually see straight out of the windshield of the camaro without looking like Mr. Burns.

Regardless of what it actually is Kids are going to drive like morons .... dont matter if they drive a 4 banger mustang or a ls6 powered monster.

(my little 4 banger will do a bit more than 165)

I couldnt care less. Like I said, ever since the 70's kids have been driving hopped up cars. Its not like the times are changing.
