Another IPad Question

We had the IPad 1 64g. Just got the new IPad 4.
Can someone explain the difference in the two. I know the 4 is better, but why? What does it have that the 1 doesnt?

I love the camera on my iPad 4 it takes some sweet pics. Other then that I can't tell the difference between mine and my brothers older iPad.

best buy sells a case that's supposed to be waterproof for 5 feet i'm curious if anyones tested it.

Don't laugh. They replaced it on the spot. Out the door at 300 bucks with a 2 year and a nice case (not waterproof).
