RIP to the innocent victims, i hate that this site is so negative to turn it on a liberal/obama/gun control twist, when this is on of the most tragic events to happen in our lifetimes. I was holed up in the chemical plant all day and knew nothing about this until about 6pm when my wife called my crying. of course i didnt get on any news sites bc i knew it would be discussed here, i forgot though that on the first page the thread would derail into what makes dfwmustangs, well, dfwmustangs.

There's nothing to do for the kids. They are dead. This thread is about discussing differing opinions on the tragedy that occurred. Mental illness is difficult to diagnose at the gun store where they only check your criminal record. But, stopping the lawful sale of weapons will not decrease murder rates. People will always kill one another...they always have.

Guns had nothing, really, to do with this. It is about a person that was fucked up in the damned head using a medium to achieve an end. The guns were the medium. Had they not been available it could have been an IED. Or machete, baseball bat, golf club, etc.
