  • Parents of young kids, When is it to old to snuggle with your kids

Since we are on this Kissing our kids on the lips subject. I still snuggle with Aubrey at night till she falls asleep. Which thank god is now like 2 mins. But she likes to rub my arm when she goes to bed & fall asleep. I see every other weekend. So its hard to say no. But when is it to old to snuggle as a parent with your child ?

I don't snuggle mine to sleep. He needs to learn to comfort himself.

Now, if i could just get him to stop sneaking in our bed and sleeping at our feet.

I agree with the ladies, but I dont do it to put them asleep though. We'll just hang out on the couch and do it watching tv.

                  This

We will chill and watch a movie and I will put my arm around them, or they will curl up in my lap.

Snuggling is fine as long as she's capable of going to sleep on her own, in her own bed, on any given night.

The moment it turns into a requirement for her to fall asleep, you have a problem.

never. My oldest is almost 11. I still treat her like my baby, as well as the others. She will always be my little girl.

Never. Not much is more awesome than when my kids come jump in my bed to snuggle and watch cartoons.

I am one of four children. I remember times in my teens when all four of us would go jump in my parents bed, with them in it.

                              Never was a snuggler.

My son will sit as close as he can to me on the couch and eventually lean over on me. Sometimes I don't mind, but most of the time and have to have him move over and give me some space...
