We're not an overly affectionate sort in my family. The boys will hug me randomly, but they usually want something. With the girl child, we do "huggie, kissie, and nose kissies" as part of her bedtime routine. The kissie is usually a peck on the lips.

yes. the wife was going to school, and we did put my son in a mothers day out. he goes there for 4 hours twice a week.

My son knows when daddy is on the phone he has to be quiet.

I usually just run my fingers through my boys hair when showing affection, followed by maybe a word or two telling them that I love them or that they kicked ass at whatever they just kicked ass at. We don't get weird with the kissing shit...

My little girl is 2 and tries to kids lips to lips. I kids her cheek or 4 head. My son is 6 months, gets them on the forehead.

I kiss my wife on the lips, that's it. Her aunt kisses everyone on the lips that she is close to, and it really weirded out when she did it to me.
