I was having this discussion with my g/f today after I had some professional photos made yesterday. My daughter (9) wanted to do a pose with her kissing me and we kissed face to face - quick "mwaaa" or peck. I didn't buy that particular photo as it wasn't my fave, but my g/f was reviewing them and says the photo weirds her out and that she has never kissed her 2 sons on their lips ever. Just curious what you guys think/do? Also, I would say this is mainly for kids 10/under. As they get older, I'm sure it usually is a cheek/forehead kiss.

Parents of young kids, do you kiss your children on the lips or the cheek?

It depends. Sometimes on the lips, but usually on the cheek."Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson, 1776

My daughter always has, and always will get kisses on the lips. The day she gets too old for that, you might as well toss me in a grave. My son, is on the cheek/forehead. It was on the lips when he was younger, but he's 11 now.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.
