  • I need an Attorney to take on the State of Texas

I know we have a few here, but I don't know what their specialties are. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Would it be the State of Texas or the actual hospital that cut too much off from your circumcision?

    ;p

1RED94 is a lawyer, but I don't know if he ever made the move from the old site. I've heard GearJammer is one as well, but don't know him personally. Matt(1Red94) has advised me on a few things in the past and it has always worked out golden.

I'll search for him over here. I can't pm anyone or anything on the old site, due to being banned for no apparent reason.

Forget a lawyer. Do it yourself.

The outcome should come out ok.

At least, that is what Dr. Kevorkian said.

What kind of law are we talking about? Suing Texas for what? If its criminal, I have a guy who loves to sue cities and police departments.

                    It's over a license suspension.

Apparently a notice was sent to me in the mail (that I never received), and I had 20 days to file for a hearing (again, could have done if I had known anything about it), otherwise my license would be suspended for a period of 1 year. Nothing I can do to reinstate it.

If I don't drive, I don't work. Period. That means my house, etc will all be gone, over a letter, that I never received.

Not sure if Matt handles that type of stuff, but he might be able to point you in the right direction, as he did me with a problem a few years back. It's nice knowing people!

So how did you find out about the suspension?

That sucks being presumed guilty because of a possible Postal Service error. Wouldn't the State need proof of delivery for such a notice?
