Not at a television level it doesn't. All commercials/promos/PSA's are preset if they're ingested into a digital server or a VTR. I've done everything from slanging tape to master control ops to video editing. Do you even lift, bro?

Me too but I don't understand why. Do you REALLY want to hear the commercials? I have been using a DVR for over a decade so most of the time it is not an issue but if it is live, it is muted.
