  • 6% fixed to 3.25% fixed mortgage

Just got the call on my refi approval.

I know these aren't the typical DFWM baller numbers, but for me they represent years of hard work repairing my credit after divorce(s). This means hundreds of dollars back in savings each month.

I just did the same, went from 5.25% to a 3.5% on a ten year note. I am shaving 4 years of mortgage and my payment went up 21 bucks a month.

Now is definitely the time. I don't see 15 year fixed rates going much lower.

Thanks. Probably going to continue making the same payment I was which should have me paid off in full within 6-7 years.

Congrats. We did that same thing this summer going from 5.25% to 3.125%.

Stayed with the same lender and had no closing costs.

Same here, zero closing costs. A lot of front end work for the last few months, but worth it.
