She sent me for xrays and waiting for results. Insurance can't get a person to look at the car till next Tues. Going to get rental from Enterprise tonight. At only 30/day covered and being 6'2 265 I expect my knees will be in my armpits.

My passenger is ok and not sure about the lady that was the taxi passenger but I expect she will be filing a claim against the cab driver as well.

insurance just called and their computer flagged as a possible total and since they couldnt get a field guy out for a week want to tow it to their yard to check it out and make a determination sooner. Any advice for fighting the value on it?

Its all power, leather interior, tires less than 12-15k on em, maintained, and just ran out of ford extended warranty last month so its been maintained and in good shape.

Find all the comps you can, KBB, NADA, etc. Just do your research on vehicles in the same or better condition than your was in. Also depends on what insurance the taxi had.

Half the time when I see Taxi's driving, they're usually hauling ass, but lately they've been deciding to drive slow as shit and pull out in front of people. It's happened to me several times the past few days.

We've never come out behind on accidents. TWICE my brother's '99 cobra got hit in the front/rear...but at just the right times at a really slow speed. Free paint jobs!
Our '98 GT 'vert was nailed in the front end from a red light runner...we got 2X the cash that it was worth.
The jaguar got a nice side swipe by some guy backing up with a huge trailer hitch, and that gave us a couple hundred on top of what the repairs cost us.
Every one of those times we got a free rental car ranging from 1 week to a month

Looked at the damage more tonight. Core supports shot, Radiator/fans are real close to the exhaust now. Looks like the frame/unibody isnt straight any more.

I put the ford stock radio back in and pulled my pioneer with bluetooth, mp3, ipod, hands free, etc along with my amp/sub etc.

At this point may just replace the motor in my 95 C2500 and drive it till the wife's traverse is paid off and get something in 18 months.
