I used to live next door in Trophy Club, it's made up of less wealthy snobs who want to pretend they can afford to be in Southlake....I hated living there.

No thanks....I'll take a small town with real people any day of the week over that crap.
I agree with you... Both myself and my lady grew up in Southlake before it turned into (or more of) the snobby mess it is today. I think our heads are still stuck on the way it was before we both left the parental nest. I think we will end up somewhere else when the time comes. And for the record, I would love to live in a small town. She isn't sold on the idea just yet.

        College Station.

-Home to Texas A&M and 30k young females on scheduled rotation yearly.
-Home to Texas World Speedway so I don't have to tow far at all for fun.
-1.5 hours from Circuit of the Americas for Awesome racing action.
        -Low taxes
        -Friendly police departments
-Small town atmosphere and the kids leave three times a year and the town is vacant
-cost of living is fairly low.
-We hate t.u. fans and might be able to get away with lynching one!
-regional airport which I can leave my house for a 7am flight at 6:30 and walk right onto the plane, 35 minutes to DFW and on to anywhere in the world.
        - It's not Dallas or Houston and traffic is just right.
        - two day shipping still gets stuff here the same as Dallas.

Anyway, it's all good here. Just stay out of Bryan late at night and you are good to go.

Needs a good dragstrip down there. Navasota dragway is a shithole! At least it was a couple of years ago. I wouldn't mind having some land down there with a nice little house and a couple of rental cabins on the property. Rentals bring big $$$ on football weekends, graduations, etc...

It might be OK if not for all the Aggies!

And if it were great, explain why they all leave after graduation?
