Ive owned a few 87s and an 88 and now I currently own an 87 mustang and well, it looks great, don't get me wrong I think these cars are gorgeous but damn! Did they always need tons of work to make them a better car? I just finished that Adam sandler movie "that's my boy" and they're driving the shit out of this fox body mustang and I thought to myself if that was real life, that mustang would have ran like shit. Were the 80s fox body mustangs as bad as I think were or is it just me? Idk. I'm drunk.

I had an 88 GT when I was 17-18 and I beat the piss out of it. It was a great car. I miss it now. It never missed a beat.

The motor was strong as shit! I replaced every part under the hood mins the engine. I put tons of miles on my last cars before wrecking it. I have never expected much from a car over 20 years old but damn, after replacing everything in it, I figured it would make it like it was when it first came out. I'm starting to think it wasn't a good car wen it first came out..

I beat the shit out of my 88. Even ran that bitch dry on oil once coming back from Houston. Pulled over at some shit hole gas station off of what is now GB, refilled, and rolled out. They had their issues, but compared to other vehicles of that time frame, they were damn solid.

Come on what are you bitching about it‘s an old car!? I can fix my 93 cobra with $50 dollars worth of harbor freight tools! Sure these cars are aging and shit will break due to age but these cars will out last any new mustang ford has built in the last ten years.

Since I was 16 I’ve always had a foxbody in my garage because I’ve always thought if my other cars break down the mustang will keep me from walking! I know how to fix 'em and find it comforting knowing it's in the garage if I need it.
