MAYBE, Albert did a pre-check, MAYBE, Albert was driving down the road and this woman decided at the last second to slam her brakes and turn into sonic.

The plain and simple fact is, the husband and father has petitioned multiple different courts, congressmen, judges and DA's to make something happen. No matter what the outcome, his wife and baby are dead. And nothing brings them back.

Albert and the woman are the only two who really know what happened. And to what degree was the trunk found faulty we will never know.

At this point, 5 years later, after multiple DA's and judges had turned this down, they finally found the scum of the scum to prosecute. Then, the grieving husband and father gets played up.

Regardless, his life and Alberts life will forever be changed. I hope they find a way to cope.

I remember when it first happened that they were looking at a faulty brake system as a possible cause. Now whether or not it played into the end result is entirely speculative but (according to the jury) it was a deciding factor. It's a shitty deal either way you look at it.

No assumptions are being made, dude. He wasn't doing his due diligence to be a safe truck driver. I know it sucks to think about. As a responsible driver, I have no sympathy for a negligent driver.
