guy I went to high school with has his own shop in Mansfield. Clint Cummings at Sparrows Tattoo. May have also seen him on Ink Master on Spike lol. All good artists at that shop.

No BS, I went to visit my primo last month and he had some awesome work done on his arm . It was great qualtity. He told me he spent like 5 bux on it.

he was more cocky than anything. and I figure his prices prob went up just from being on that show.

He used to do tats on people back in high school. Have several friends with some. Kinda cool to see him get to that point to be on the show. The shop is downtown old Mansfield.

Oh he was cocky too. Like I said his ability is there and the work was clean, line work was solid, etc.

His art work was my only real criticism of his work on the show. Way over complex work that ended up looking like a busy blob that he had to rush to meet the time deadlines. He had a real hard time with criticism for sure. I really thought he'd end up in the top three if he would have just listened.

There were definitely people on the show that never should have been there. The casting is horrible.

I would say Trevor at Ink Twister is the best in the area. 21 years of doing tats and he is affordable. Last time I got one his wait list was 3 months though.

Billy jack did a piece I have on my chest. He does good work and has some really good artists at AE too. I just haven't been there in a long time to know who's there or who's still any good.

I've seen some recent work from some guys there that I thought was pretty poor, however.

If you want flash, then just go for any shop. But if you want art, seek out an artist.

I would say Trevor at Ink Twister is the best in the area. 21 years of doing tats and he is affordable. Last time I got one his wait list was 3 months though.

Based on the work on his website, he does some pretty good work, but not the best in Dallas that's for sure. I'd say chopped54 and gear jammer would be two people's opinions I'd trust.
