It was Red with black bucket interrior 440. Call Bill at 817-489-8906 or email your # and a good time to reach you. I have a couple of 69 cars I would even trade.

Hope he has better luck than we have had finding my dads 70 Charger. I posted ads looking for the car for probably 4-5 years and never got one response. Same thing when I trying to find my 71 Demon 340 which was a factory hood scoop and rear wing car in a rather unusual color (Gold). I have not given up hope, maybe one of these days I hope to stumble across them again.

Not to help the story at all....bud I found my 1979 Monte Carlo in a wrecking yard in Grand Prairie about 7 years after we sold it...and I found my 95 CBR600F3 at Bates Garland about 6 months after I sold it.

That's one of my Dad's favorite cars. If he last heard of it in 74 it's probably long gone. I'd pay a nice finders fee for my Dad's '66 Coronet he bought brand new. Dark green, black bench, 383/727. Or his 67 rs/ss Bolero red 350/4 speed Camaro. It was optioned identical to the Hot Rod magazine "test car" that has been owned by Jim McFarland/Vic Edelbrock since new, except his had the hideaway headlights(rs package). One of the best stories my Dad told me was blowing-up the motor in the Camaro @ 120 MPH on 75 in Plano in 71. Problem was, he couldn't find a 350 in a junkyard. Had to get a 327 from a 64 Impala. He also told me that having a cowl hood just means when you blow-up the motor you're gonna get oil on your windshield.

I know. But this was 1971. The 350 wasn't widely available 'til '68. I believe in 67 the 350 debuted in the Camaro and was a Camaro-only option. So finding a motor that's only been around ~3-4 years in a local junkyard before the Internet was around isn't the easiest thing to do!
