I also don't spend much money at all in my personal life. I don't have a hobby to drain my income or money from my business.
I thought you had a pretty girlfriend?

We usually split it. She pays half the time.
        She isn't technically my girlfriend.

          1. Build 4 big horse power cars
          2. Hire minimally experienced staff to handle extra work load from publicity of high hp cars
          3. Fire your experienced technicians because the rookies are learning from experienced techs
          4. Repeat steps 1- 3 depending on how much your experienced techs are making and in flow of eager workers

I have known a few technicians who worked at Ruf in Addison and I can tell you they made the same money at Firestone that they do at a Porsche specialty shop. And yes Ruf hires them directly from Firestone often at a pay decrease because people want to work on exotic cars and build performance parts
          loads of truth right there.

Like a couple of others in this thread, the serial-rip-off-shops are why I started
            turning my own wrench.

Conflict of interest is a customers worst enemy. Forums owners are indefensible
when it comes to this. They make advertising dollars while the forum members get
robbed HUGE from the serial-rip-off-shops. I haven't see this from DFWMustangs.net
all good, some laughs, some real knowledge buried here and there, all the time.

Impartial third party mechanics are usually worth their weight in gold, in my experience.
Even if it's just to ask for their opinions and/or recommendations. Somtimes it takes
            detailed examination.
Many times, I see gold in the posts from this forum, you just have to weed out the
bunk, but that's easy to do.
