The reviews are hit or miss. I chalk that up to personal desire of their palate. The ones who liked it, really liked it.
        On Magnolia in Fort Worth.

It's a bar, not a store. Coffee, tea, beer. Anything brewed.

The pub I frequent down here in Waco had it several weeks back and it was gone by the time I went back a few days later. It was very good, but I wasn't jumping out of my pants over it.

I am going to have to try the St Arnolds if I can find it. Love almost all the bourbon barrel beers, and woodford is my go to.

The Leinie snowdrift porter is pretty damn good, even though I'm bummed they stopped the fireside brown to make it.

I'll see if my local store can find it for me.

If you like IPAs, try Sierra Nevada Celebration for a winter ale.

Have you tried the Fireside Nut that they had(ve) during the Fall? You might find one you don't like with that.

There are enough beers out there to blow your mind and that's just what you can get in Texas. Finding what you like is trial and error. The best thing to do is hit up a store that let's you build your own sixer and go to town. The bigger their selection, the better. Try Total Wine, Spec's, Central Market, etc. The more you try, the more your taste will develop and lean towards what you like. You WILL try something that will end up a drain pour, but before it goes down the drain, try and determine why and what you didn't like about it. I've endured some beers that would have been instant drain pours, but as I got further into them and picked the flavors apart, I was able to appreciate what went in to it and identify why I may or may not drink it again.
Don't drink them from the bottle or can. You don't have to pour them in to the exact style of glass you will read about on the beer forums, but at the very least, a clean, room temperature pint glass is a must. This allows the beer to open up to it's fullest potential. If you really want to get in to it, check out Beer Advocate.com. There is a shit load of info there.

Pretty cool concept. Might have to check that out in the off chance that I'm ever in Fort Worth.

Saint Arnold's is really the only Texas brewer that makes beer that's actually good**. Sue me.

**Of the breweries I've had beer from.

I'll admit there's only a couple Rahr brews I like and none I love.

I haven't. Sunset wheat is one of my go-to beers. I've had Berry Weiss once and can't get it here. The lemon shandy and lemon berry shandy were okay, I'm just not a huge fan of lemon. I haven't tried any of their fall/winter offerings.
