        Sorry to hear that man.

Over the years I have gotten more and more picky about where I ride. I would never ride in the city I work. The rodes are shitty, lanes are tight, driver innatention is at a all time high, and probably half the people on the road do not have insurance. I like living in Waxahahchie for sure. The block over from my house is around a five mile loop and harldy ever any cars. When I lived in DeSoto I rode the Roy Orr trail and it kinda spoiled me plus the back neighborhoods were great. I see these guys riding up off of Coit and roads like that and think holy shit they are brave. Just to many people not paying attention and in to big of a hurry.

I saw the cops all stopped on the southbound shoulder as I was driving home from a scout meeting. I had no idea what was going on, but I was immediately distracted by racing home due to my apartment complex being on fire. It was a crappy night for sure

Yeah this was terrible. I was one of the few stopped cars. I was scrambling to find a first aid kit in my truck and called 911. All I had were a couple of pillows in case he sat up to comfort him while the ambulance came, but I realized that the whole time I was looking he did not move or say anything. Then a lady took his pulse. I am truly sorry for you loss.

What a shame and a waste. I ride my mountain bike 5 miles everyday. If I ride where there are no trails, I will ride facing traffic. Mostly I stay on the sidewalks and have seen lots of Bedford cops but they have never said anything to me. And believe me, these asshole cops will give tickets for any damn thing.

Sorry for the loss, to those who knew him, he sounded just as you say. Genuine.
