I find it somewhat plausible, they are the people that are in the building all of the time, just look for anything that looks out of place or wires protruding etc.. Yes there is more to it than that but they are not asking them to try and defuse anything just possibly identify it. Now, since it seems they have never addressed it with the employees or offered to provide detection training it is a problem.

Id rather not say... my work already likes to snoop facebook profiles. We do have our own in house disaster/risk management team.

Clearly not you if you're overworked and underpaid.

Haha, I understand. I'm looking at going to one of the bigger hospitals around DFW and some of the things you post make me hope it is not where I'm hoping to end up.

lol.. unfortunately its everywhere. Honestly though, I think my work is a great facility that has large capabilities for the size it is. I work with great physicians and other staff. Id even to as far as to say I feel comfortable sending my family and myself there for medical care.

We recently hired people for HR and safety, we have had more policies in one year than we did in the past 5. Guess they think it is job security.

When asked why, I said 'who am I to interfere with Natural Selection?'...they never volunteered me for anything else. I did not care for anyone that worked there, and was quite surprised most of them had lived as long as they had. That place was full of stupid!

Our only company policies are "try not to piss off our clients, don't sexually harass each other within earshot of outsiders, and try to behave in public." We don't really adhere to any of them.....
