Just about anything traxxas. They really are the leader in r/c imho.

I have three nitro's from them. Only bad thing i have had happen is a servo failed on me and put the truck in reverse at about 40.

Other than that all damage that has occurred has been driver error.

so you mean me breaking the rear shock tower after taking it off a 10 foot jump wasnt MFG error? I did zip tie it together and proced to beat the piss out of it. Just ordered billet shock towers for it today. 14 dollars lol

I like to take mine to gravel pit sites and do some climbing. We had a track built at the farm for a while.

Ive done some hard end over ends, and usually the worst thing that happens is shock spring perch will fall off. Ive been lucky and never broke any a arms or stupid stuff, But ive bent my fare share of pushrods/turnbuckles.

some kids out by me (i live in a moderately rural area) built a bmx jump/track on the side of the road in a field, so i take mine there. Also a nice gravel lot by my house.

I've had a bunch of nitro and electric cars/trucks in my life, but my favorite is my electric Slash. Put the battery in, turn it and the remote on and play right away. Want to play longer? Get more batteries. It's can't be any easier. I use a LiPo battery in mine and was very impressed with it. They aren't cheap, but well worth it IMHO. Make sure to get a decent charger - it'll make a big difference in the power and life of your batteries.

4wd handle better and are more fun from what ive heard. I have the 2wd and am going to get the 4wd soon. is just get the brushless 4wd if i had it all to do over.

4wd is easier to drive because they do not spin out on you like a 2wd. 4wd cost more also

for the novice id recommend against immediately getting into LiPo. theyre more work and finnicky

2wd is fun, But for all around bashing go 4x4.

I enjoy driving my 2wd more as ive got the right type of clay/dirt where i drive. I take a few hundred gallons of water down and spray the area down. It gets good and tacky, but i can drift the corners and still get it to hook on the straights.

About to finish a slayer pro build, which is the nitro version of the slash. I am doing quite a bit of work to this thing. Should be a real screamer with a Picco .28 strapped to it.
