OAG gets the order > they send forms to your employer > your employer has up to 6 weeks to take it from your check. Are you giving her money directly or are you going through the OAG payment portal/channels?

HAHA at the time we went to court things were going good
Then light switch out, I should of stuck to my guns the first time, but she let me see my son anytime I wanted so I played nice.
And trust me that thought has gone through my mind, I don't get it we have a long life ahead of us. It is better to just get along and move on do not let your selfish ways get in the way. I can understand if I wasn't around but I always ask if I can see him and she won"t. i understand she does not have to, it isn't my weekend but damn karma will be a bitch.

Was giving her cash, at the time things were good. Figured I was being nice, but if they are going to go back and take it out what is the point. I will buy him whatever he needs, till they start taking it out.

By the way, Seb, I'm not sure if this is coming from you or her, but you're about to have a child with her. The odds are good that you will be in a very similar situation in 12 years. You may want to think long and hard before you set this precedent as acceptable treatment of, by all accounts, a "great" father. Karma is a bitch.

Stop giving her cash RIGHT NOW. Do everything through the OAG. You will not get any credit for direct payments if the orders are for OAG managed payments.

Correct. Also a double edged sword. Puts you further behind, but the OAG doesn't give a damn about the cash you give her, because it can't be proven, even if you have a signed "receipt". They likely also won't give a damn about bank transfers or checks you've written either. Take the amount you are supposed to be giving her, and put it in a savings account, and work it out with the OAG once they get the case entered and start collecting. This will absolutely piss her off. Guaranteed. But You HAVE to look out for yourself here, because I promise you, nobody else is.

Yeah, FYI for anyone paying support through the OAG already. If you decide you want to give more money than ordered, always do it through them.. All you have to do is send them a check with the order info on it. That way at least you get credit for it.

The highlighted portion above is absolutely correct. As for the cash payments, she can fill out a Custodial Parent's Affidavit of Direct Payments, have it notarized, and sent in. Only then will cash/check/wire payments be acknowledged through the OAG. The only problem is getting her to honestly fill the form out and send it in to them. She can check the box that says she hasn't received a red cent from you, and you're fucked AND you're now in arrears.
