Its not very brittle, just old and dry with some hairline cracks.

Just sent this in a PM but I will post it here for criticism. I am thinking the problem areas can be rebuilt with sheet styrene or ABS and then lay a layer of fiberglass on the back side to help add some strength to the grafts
