Are you high? Why would anyone want to be in Midland, that didn't have to?

I don't care what kind of food, just prefer to not eat chain food if I can avoid it. So Rosa's and Cracker Barrell are out.

As for Jody, lol. I know there's no culinary excellence in Midland. People that have talent don't waste away in oil towns. I just want something decent to eat.

I can't recall who asked, but I'm just in town for tonight. I've got an appt in the morning, and headed back right after.

Wall St Bar and Grill for Étouffée.

        Gorges for mexican.

Michaels BBQ for burger and ribs.

Sid and Sams in Odessa for a ribeye.

        King and I for Thai.

Clear Springs for blackened catfish and fried oysters...fried crawfish too.

There's a hole in the wall about 40 miles from here in Andrews with killer steak fingers. Buddy's.

        Luigis for Italian and pizza.

These are all the reasons I'm fat and happy.

King and I; the one in the shopping center on loop 250 and Midland Dr. is usually less crowded. Next Gold's Gym.

Osaka; Japanese food; pretty good menu but it is one of those places where they cook for you and tell you corny jokes. Nice place, though.

Clear Springs; catfish, chicken fried steak, that sort of thing

                  KDs BBQ off of I20.

Jalisco's; 1809 N Big Spring street. Mexican food, but they have a really nice and varied menu of stuff that you can't get anywhere else in town. Most of it is not the typical tex-mex you get around here. One of my favorites and they have a decent bar.

If you are in Odessa stop by Keith's Hamburger Station across from the Coliseum and get the steak fingers; best ones in Midland or Odessa.
