    my dog passed away today.

    And now my house is too fucking quiet.

    This has been a terrible Thanksgiving, I was going to put him down on Friday but couldn't make the call despite it probably being the best idea. He died this morning during breakfast sunbathing. He was an old Dog, poor Goliath he will be missed.

    Damn dude, that sucks. Losing a dog you've had for a long time always hurts. All will be well in time.

      I understand. When we had to put our dog down, it was heartbreaking. I couldn't stand the mutt, but I loved him to death for the happiness he brought my wife and kids. I never thought he could ever make me tear up.

          Sucks. It's like losing a family member. I don't cry easily, but I broke right the fuck down when my rottweiler died. I imagine I will do it again when my current rottie dies.

              Sorry for your loss. We had to put down our 13 yo pug last spring and damn that hurts. Wife was crying and shit and I was trying to be the brave one and fuck if I didn't start that shit. walked around about 2 days with what felt like 100lbs on my chest. Going to hug my other pug now. RIP

                              We had to put our rottweiler down Tuesday. He was almost 9, one of the hardest things to do was watch him take his last breath.
