It is my first purchase, so all the unknowns are stressing me out. I just want it all over with. I know it will all be worth it and the anticipation is killing me. Plus, all this thanksgiving stuff in the middle of it is a kick in the nuts.

Trust me, even if you've gone through the process several times, it doesn't get much less stressful. The only thing that improves is knowing what to expect. Everything else is just as nerve racking the third time as the first. I feel so much better since things are finished and I'm getting settled in. You'll literally feel the weight being lifted off your shoulders.

My family is 1300 miles away and has been nice not to have to drive all over the place to see everyone for the last few years. Unfortunately now I have a woman who has family here so I get to go see them and deal with their pushy religous bullshit. YAY ME

Her Mom and stepdad are mormons, althought they aren't too bad about it.

Her Dad and stepmom are really christian and try to get us to go to church with them, always sending us invites to church functions, telling us we really need to reconsider our direction in life etc.... They are really stuffy uptight people. Last year they asked me to lead the table in prayer before our meal, I told them I didn't want to and they looked at me like I pooped on the floor or something, LOL. Fuck them and their uptight asses!
