Oakley Transition lens

ANy experiance with these? Curious how light/dark they get and how long they last. Was looking for a new pair and thought transitions would be benefitial.

Looks like it's the same Transition lens that all eye wear is made with. That being said, they suck. If you're going from being directly outside in the sun, to inside, they work fine and the whole transition thing works. They don't work at all inside of a car, which is mostly where I need them to work.

Yup. Took them back lol. They wouldn't darken enuff when in my truck. The tint did too good a job of blocking uv rays. At least that's what eye doc said. So we went with reg lenses . Yes they are Oakley prescription sun glasses.

Why would you want to wear a pair of Oakleys that aren't sunglasses though? I mean like, inside... I'd think Oakleys would look kind of goofy.

Really depends on what frames you have. My half x would look like regular glasses without the framing around the lense if you swapped the lenses

My Half Jackets are transitions. They don't get dark enough in bright daylight and the transition period is slow. I bought them because my M Frames are too dark in most light, but I like them better and the transitions only come out on overcast days.
