Yep. We go every year and take all 4 of our nieces, ages 3-10, and we all have a blast. Plenty to do and see, and it's not nearly as packed as the normal season. I think they are only open like 4-10, so plan accordingly. Hunt around and you can find good discounts on admission.
Yes it is. There is also a lot of MILFs that go, that alone is worth the price of admission...

I remember when I was a kid my girlfriend and I went to holiday in the park.We decided to go get lucky at the shut down log ride. Well she jumps off onto the ramp and I step off not being able to see I step up to about knee deep of water/ice. It was a brisk 20 something degrees. After we started to draw a crowd from all the people that heard her screaming. I swear it was just like porkys where the coach's get it on in the locker room and that bitch starts howling. We get done I thought I was going to get frost bite on my leg walking back to the car with a wet pants leg. Awwww good times
I used to go with the church youth group every year when I was a kid and it was always fun and not too crowded. Towards the end of the night we would see how many times in a row we could ride the Texas Giant, because there was no line at all.
It is the best time of the year to go to Six Flags. Not crowded, not hot, cheaper, no waiting for the rides. I don't know why it's not more popular. I guess some people enjoy waiting two hours to ride a roller coaster when it's 105*.
